How are valves painted for identification

1, valve products according to the body material for identification paint, its color according to the following table body material gray cast iron, malleable cast iron nodular cast iron carbon steel acid resistant steel, stainless steel alloy steel

Identify paint color black silver medium gray blue medium blue

Note :(1) acid resistant steel and stainless steel are not allowed to be painted

(2) copper alloy is not painted

2, in order to represent the valve product sealing surface material, should be in the transmission of the hand wheel, handle, plate hand paint, the color according to the following table.

Sealing surface material copper alloy babbitt alloy acid resistant steel stainless steel nitrided steel boronized carbide monel alloy plastic rubber cast iron

Identify paint color bright red light yellow sky blue sky blue deep yellow fuchsia medium green black

Note :(1) the sealing surface material of the valve seat and the lifting and closing parts is different.

(2) check valve, painted on top of cover: relief valve, pressure reducing valve, steam trap painted on the hood or bonnet.

3. The paint color of the transmission mechanism shall be as follows:

(1) electric device: ordinary type coated with medium gray, three-in-one (outdoor, explosion-proof, anticorrosive) type coated with blue.

(2) other driving mechanisms, such as pneumatic, hydraulic and gear transmission, shall be painted with the product.
